1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Hobbio, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy.
2. The service
Hobbio is a free social network that connects people through hobbies: per-hobby feed, events, friendships, messages, photo gallery and rivalries. The service is provided "as is" and may evolve, be suspended or discontinued at any time.
3. Your account
- Registration is done via social login (Google, Apple or other providers).
- You are responsible for the activity carried out with your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Hobbio.
4. User content
- You retain ownership of the content you publish and grant us a license to display it within the service.
- It is forbidden to publish content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, that infringes third-party rights or that violates these rules.
- Content and accounts may be removed or suspended in case of violation, based on reports and platform moderation.
5. Intellectual property
The Hobbio brand, the app and its visual elements belong to Hobbio. Third-party brands and content (for example, integrations and sponsors) belong to their respective owners.
6. Limitation of liability
Hobbio is not responsible for content published by users, for events organized by third parties through the platform, or for indirect damages arising from the use of the service.
7. Hobbio+ subscription
Hobbio is free. Hobbio+ is an optional subscription that unlocks unlimited use of Hobbio AI and meal photos, full reports and the Hobbio+ badge on your profile, posts and search results. Everything social (feed, friends, events, messages, rivalries, habits and workouts) stays free.
- Price: BRL 17.99 per month or BRL 144.90 per year in Brazil. In other countries the price is the one shown in the store, in local currency and including taxes. The yearly plan comes with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers; when the trial ends, the yearly price is charged automatically unless you cancel.
- Purchase and renewal: the subscription is bought and billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, on the store account used on your device. It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until cancelled.
- Cancelling on iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Hobbio+. To avoid being charged for the next period (including at the end of the 7-day trial), cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal.
- Cancelling on Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Hobbio+, at any time. Access continues until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds: requested through the store, under Apple's and Google's rules. In addition, for purchases made in Brazil you may withdraw within 7 days of the first purchase (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code), through the store or [email protected].
- Fair use: "unlimited" means unlimited for personal use. To prevent automation and abuse there is a declared daily limit — currently 200 Hobbio AI messages and 60 meal photos per day — which the app shows as you approach it. These limits may be raised.
- End of access: when the subscription ends, the Hobbio+ badge disappears and the free plan limits apply again. Your data and content are not deleted.
- Price changes: if the price changes, the store notifies you in advance and asks for your confirmation where the law or the store's policy requires it; you can cancel before the renewal.
- Restore purchases: on a new device, use "Restore purchases" in Profile → Hobbio+ with the same store account.
8. Refer a friend
- Every member has an invite link (
hobbio.app/convite/your-username). When a friend creates an account through that link and publishes their first post within the qualifying period in force (currently 3 days after sign-up), both of you get 30 days of Hobbio+, added to any period already active. - One reward per referred friend, and the friend must be a real person with a new account. Duplicate, fake or automated accounts earn no reward and may be closed.
- The reward cannot be converted to cash, refunded or transferred. The programme may be changed or ended at any time; rewards already granted are kept until the end of their period.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account). We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
